Secret Files 2 Puritas Cordis
I’ve got a lot of time for point and click adventures. If I cast my mind back to the days of Monkey Island there has always been this striking appeal that I’ve always been attracted to. Whether it’s the element of the mystery or the deciphering of codes, I’ve always been committed to solving the mysteries. This is why I’m really enjoying Secret Files 2 – Puritas Cordis by Deep Silver on the DS. A game that’s not too dissimilar from games like Broken Sword and Syberia.

Rhythm Paradise
Rhythm Paradise summed up in one word was ‘delightful’. Rhythm Paradise offers players a variety of mini games that have made this title a success in my book. Not only did this game bring me enjoyment, it brought me great satisfaction in the fact that a game has been created that actually has you laughing out loud, or it was in my case and great graphics along with boppy music.
Battlestations: Pacific
This is the second game in the series from Eidos. The game offers both strategy and action on a grand scale within a World War 2 backdrop. Play as either the American or Japanese faction, and then rule the sea and sky with a myriad of different units. Take to the sky in one of the authentic WW2 planes, control a massive warship or sneak around underwater in a submarine. Plan your strategy and then launch your attack and take control of any of the available units during the campaign.
Little King’s Story
Whilst walking in the forest one day, Corobo comes across a crown. Placing the crown upon his head instantly bestows the title of King upon Corobo and charges Him with the task of running and improving the kingdom. Happens to me all the time.
Anno: Create a new world DS
Having played a number of the older Anno games I was quite looking forward to trying this game out. I was not expecting much from the hand held version but I figured that being able to play it anywhere would make up for a few shortcomings.
I started the game up and was greeted by a pretty standard start screen offering me access to the options, continuous play mode or story mode. Continuous play offers the basic sandbox mode, allowing you free reign to create your civilisation as you see fit, without being hampered by story driven objectives.
Henry Hatsworth Review
I had heard a lot of rumours about the new game on the DS called ‘Henry Hatsworth’, so I thought it was about time I played it and gave it a review. You may disagree or agree on the feedback from this game but I’ll let you decide what you think.
Marble Balance Challenge
Marble Balance challenge is an interesting game that has you rolling around all over different stages as you guide the ball around various obstacles and obstructions that get in your way. I have decided to view the game using the Wii controller. At first glance the graphics are detailed as you’re introduced to a small ant called ‘Anthony’. Now Anthony is an ant who is looking for a seed from the legendary sun flower, which is hidden deep within the stump temple. The stump temple was built 1000 years ago. Since then the path towards it was destroyed. The ant shows you an ancient script inscribed on a door that tells you that you must gather parts from around the world for the stump temple. This is where you come into the game. The tiny ants can’t do this on their own, so they require your help.
