For those that have been following the Left 4 Dead 2 boycott, since its conception they have managed to muster a force of nearly 25,000 in only 10 days. It seems that the quick release of a second left 4 dead title has upset a lot of people.
However, 10 days in and L4D2 Boycott (NO-L4D2) appears to have no contact from Valve. GirlGamersUk also emailed them for comment, but to no avail. But it now seems that the good people at Kotaku have managed to get a response.
In an article posted on their site (http://kotaku.com/5286185/valve-responds-to-left-4-dead-2-boycott-reaffirms-support-for-original) Valve president Gabe Newell told that They will continue to support the Left 4 Dead community with authoring tools, community matchmaking, 4X4 matchmaking and more new content in the coming months.
