We’ve celebrated all the up and coming titles coming across all formats, we’ve witnessed consoles getting slimmer, gaming changing and new ideas appearing, prices changing drastically on consoles. Super Mario Messenger Bag

Posted by TurtleGirl On August - 28 - 2009

I’m always on the lookout for a messenger bag, since Jack Bauer showed off his in the tv show 24. I think ever since, men have been going out of their way to get the ultimate in messenger bags, you see them everywhere now. Take a look at this nice design though. Imagine walking down the street with this Super Mario bag hanging over your shoulder. I love the retro design of the old classic game. Perfect for the Old School gamer. Available from Etsy.

Super Mario Rubik’s Cube

Posted by TurtleGirl On August - 28 - 2009

One thing I liked about the eighties was the fact that we had some very unusual toys and gadgets back then. One springs to mind is the Rubik’s cube. How I loved playing with my cube in the hope that I could match all them coloured squares up, but back then I didn’t have much patience with this new toy and would end up taking all the stickers off to match the colours. It was cheating I know, but I was just a kid. Now I can introduce to you the ‘Super Mario Rubik’s Cube’ and you can even custom order your cube. I really like the Mario design, but you can get ones with Donkey Kong on or Pacman and priced from $7. from Etsy.

Hamburgers Anyone?

Posted by TurtleGirl On August - 26 - 2009

It amazes me that there are such a wide variety of novelty cushions you can get. If it’s not pacman ones, then it’s hamburger ones. These scatter cushions can be thrown over your sofa and then can be reassembled to make a delicious looking hamburger. How cute is that?. I suppose you could have fun sitting on a bit of lettuce while nibbling on a tomato. They are not cheap either at around $220.
