Halo 3 ODST

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 30 - 2009

Though I’ve only played Halo a few times in the past, I felt it was time to get some hands on experience with the new title, Halo 3 ODST. So I grabbed the controller and my adventure began. Feeling a little nervous due to the fact that I didn‘t have a huge amount of experience with the Halo games, I was hoping it was going to take me on an epic journey of discovery. The opening credits began and I was already taken back by the astounding graphics and soundtrack, they were incredible and a great amount of detail and work had been put into the introduction scene. LEGO Lantern

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 30 - 2009

Anyone that knows me, knows that I have a nice collection of LEGO figures on my desk next to the pile of games to review. I know I’m probably a big kid at heart, what can I say. It seems that more and more LEGO franchise is being created for the pure fun of it. Take a look at this rather splendid LEGO Lantern, I may not have a tent in the middle of a forest to experience the full effect, but I’m sure he could help me out if the lights go out at home. Yoshi Train

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 30 - 2009

Remind me next time while I’m waiting for ages for the train to arrive in the station that you can’t always rely on british transport. Although judging by these photos. I would’nt mind waiting a bit longer if it meant I could ride on this perfect Yoshi Train. How cool is that?. Why do we never have anything that interesting in England?. Measuring Tape Watch

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 30 - 2009

This really may not be the easiest watch in the world to read. I think it maybe slightly confusing. Made of bright yellow criss cross bands, it puts the minutes on a vertical line while the hours and date are on the back line. I fear this maybe a little too bulky and heavy to wear on your wrist, but anything goes I guess. It’s still a design concept, but you never know it might make it onto shelves. Batman Milk

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 30 - 2009

This simply is a brilliant idea and I can imagine other companies jumping on the bandwagon with this cool invention. Alexey Hattomonkey has made this rather striking and cute Batman milk carton. The ears on top makes it even more realistic. This flavour is a Strawberry milk cocktail. Looks truly yummy to me. Great design Read the rest of this entry »

Wii Baseball Bat

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 29 - 2009

Do you remember when the Nintendo Wii originally came out? People were in awe. Such a wonderful console, until some time later people realized that although the Wii is a pretty impressive console, a large fraction of children were actually accidentally throwing the wii remote through the television screens that stood in front of them due to the fact it would slip out of their hands. Hindsight is a brilliant thing. Now instead of your child throwing the wireless controller at the tv, they can now play with the Louisville slugger baseball bat for Nintendo wii. Priced at $14.99. I can hear screens breaking in the distance everywhere.
