Memento Mori

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 7 - 2009

Memento Mori is a 3D mystery adventure game that promises to be a chilling dark title that takes me into the world of conspiracies as I embark on this modern day detective story. The story unfolds as I play as Larisa who discovers that three pieces of priceless art have been stolen from the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg. There are underlying facts that may suggest it was a secret society and with the help of Max I have to discover the missing art and work out the mysteries behind the heist and see if I can recover the paintings. Nasty

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 7 - 2009

As part of the Indie games on Xbox Live Arcade I decided to invest some time in a 2D platformer called ‘Nasty’ developed by Fun Infused Games. Starting the game up for the first time it almost had a retro feel about it. It reminds me of the old school games, the ones that are just simple, but have good game play. Mac Tablet Coffee Table

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 7 - 2009

In our articles we’ve tried to cover as many wacky and wonderful case mods and even some really unusual coffee tables that resemble nintendo game controllers, but I feel that it’s time to shift your attention to this particular Mac mod. Yes, someone has come up with this genius design of building a Mac coffee table and yes it works, not sure if it would run Snow Leopard, but you can’t have everything. Yvan of Switzerland’s Cosm!k’ Art Deco Team built his Tablet Mac into a coffee table below. The Tablet Mac was built using the brains of an old iBook G4 laptop (running OSX Tiger). The laptop circuitry was set underneath a 37-inch flat panel LCD screen. Everything is self-contained in the table, with the only thing sticking out at all being the power cable. Check out the video and photos. Read the rest of this entry »
