This may seem a little sensitive and no one really likes to think about our mortality and it’s even harder to explain to children about death, so out comes a new gadget to help children to cherish life. Hmmm, I sense a note of hesitation in your mind. I don’r blame you actually, although these dolls look great and the concept is a good one, not sure if I would like to explain to a child that their doll has died. I guess this could be a learning curve or just plain cruel. I’ll let you decide yourself. In the pictures below I will explain the details about the death doll. Some of you may laugh and some of you may think it’s just plain stupid.
This doll from Mintpass and the objective is to keep your doll alive. Feed it milk, play with it, and even give it a injection when it’s sick; if you fail in your job your little doll might just die. The LED indicator has a very cool way of communicating to it’s caretaker, it turns pink when it is hungry, blue when it is sick, green when it is happy, red when it is healthy and finally grey when unfortunately it becomes an angel. It can be synced with your pc so if the inevitable happens like YOU FORGET TO FEED IT or you accidentally dropped it or stood on it, then you can log onto it’s special website where you have to pay a small fee to revive it!! Cunning or genius?. I guess that’s one way to make some money. I can hear children crying all over the world right about now as they want to know why their doll has been sent off to the doll hospital.
