Brütal Legend DLC
“Brütal Legend Pack” is being released day-and-date with Double Fine Productions’ Brütal Legend on Rocktober 13. The pack features “(We Are) The Road Crew ‘08” by Motörhead, “The Metal” by Tenacious D and “More Than Meets the Eye” by Testament, all of which are also featured in Brütal Legend. NES Cartridge Casemod
This is such a cool NES catridge casemod. I had to look twice to make sure it was actually real, but it is. This one comes with a complete library of NES games, uses the original buttons, and hides inside the Super Mario/Duck Hunt combo cartridge. There’s also an mp3 player, movie player and an FM radio receiver. This is truly stunning. There is also a video so you can see it working. Read the rest of this entry »
Super Mario Chocolates
These have to be the best Super Mario chocolates I’ve ever seen. These handmade Super Mario Bros. candies from pastry artist Ana Fuji. Each little chocolate has a star or mario or fireflower on top. Mini Arcade Cabinets
I love these little mini gaming cabinets. It seems that Justlin Whitlock has worked his magic in creating these cool arcade cabinets. Several new classic (and not so classic) arcade cabinets have recently surfaced on the artists’ Flickr page. Among the new machines are some of my faves like Asteroids, Millipede and Sinistar. And then there’s an awesome Terminator 2 game, complete with miniature gun controllers. He’s also getting set to release miniatures of Joust, Galaxian, Asteroids Deluxe, Burgertime, Mortal Kombat II.
