Fancy being a hero for 30 seconds at a time. Sounds like something I could manage.
Half-Minute Hero, developed by Marvelous Entertainment and published by Rising Star Games, will be available on PSP in Europe on 12th February 2010. This quirky RPG offers a unique concept in the world of role-play games. Each level will allow the player only 30 seconds to save the world.
With old school visuals, each level sees an evil overlord discover a new way to destroy the world. The player will have 30 seconds to solve the puzzles and level up enough to prevent this. Fear not though, there will be ways to extend your time, but you must still be quick.
There will be four different gaming styles and a variety of different in game characters across the hundred plus levels. The game will also feature ad hoc multiplayer for up to four heroes to enjoy.
“Despite being firmly grounded in the fantasy RPG mould, Half-Minute Hero is a game unlike any other,” says Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games. “It’s impossible to play without a massive grin on your face. But don’t let that fool you – this is one deep and engrossing game, with a substantial single player adventure and countless multiplayer options. It’s a game which keeps on giving – but like an inexperienced teenager: 30 seconds at a time.”
