Splinter Cell: Conviction Set in Stone?

Ubisoft has announced the long-awaited release date of Splinter Cell: Conviction. The title will be shipping on April 13, 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC.
Over at IGN they received a little bit of a surprise from Ubisoft as they opened a package with a rock inside printed with the release date. So does that mean its’ definite and it’s really set in stone?
