Atlus U.S.A., today released a number of new assets for Hexyz Force, its upcoming 2-in-1 RPG epic for PSP (PlayStationPortable) system.
New screenshots detail the game’s two intertwined yet independent narratives-which amount to two RPG adventures in one affordable portable package, accompany the launch of the game’s official website. Offering more information and visual insight into what portable RPG fans can expect from Hexyz Force, the site will be frequently updated with more about the world of Berge, new character profiles, and further elaboration of the game’s innovative dichotomous structure. Also accompanying the new screens is the third entry in the game’s official blog, courtesy of project lead Clayton S. Chan, which dives into the game’s focus on a smooth, streamlined RPG experience with a “high level of polish.”
“The abundance of assets mirrors the game’s abundance of RPG goodness, since giving gamers a lot of content to enjoy is what Hexyz Force is all about,” commented Crystal Murray, PR Specialist at Atlus. “With two main characters, each with their own stories to complete-a total combined adventure of nearly 40 hours, it’s a game that makes a strong case for being pictured next to ‘plethora’ in the dictionary.”
Built from the ground up to take full advantage of the power of PSP system, extensively optimized to deliver virtually non-existent load times, and boasting some of the most polished visuals and sounds found to date in a handheld RPG, Hexyz Force is the consummate gamer’s game, the kind of experience and final package genre fans would make if they could call the shots.
Hexyz Force is currently scheduled to release in stores on May 25, 2010, and via PlayStation Network on May 27th; both versions have an MSRP of $29.99.
