GamersGate Specials

Posted by GG Goblin On May - 7 - 2010

It’s tank week over at GamersGate. So, alongside the usual weekend deals and pre-order specials, there are some totally tanktastic discounts on tank-based games.

To celebrate Tank week, the following tank-themed games have a massive 50% discount until May 9th :

Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943
Panzer Elite Special Edition
Panzer Elite Action Gold
Panzer Elite Action Fields of Glory
Panzer Elite Action Dunes of War
Military Life: Tank Simulator
Steel Fury – Kharkov 1942
Tank Universal
Panzer Killer!
Cannon Strike
Thandor – The Invasion
Combat Mission: Shock Force
Frontline Fields of Thunder
HOI3 German Sprite Pack
HOI3 US Sprite Pack
HOI3 Soviet Sprite Pack

This weekends offers, also running until May 9th, are:

King Arthur – The Role Playing Wargame – 50%  off
O.R.B – 50% off
And Yet it Moves Mac & PC – 50% off
PikGem – 50% off
Elliptic Twist PC & Mac – 25% off
Codename: Panzers Cold War – up to 80% off, depending on the level of your member status.

My recommendation from this week would have to be:

And Yet It Moves – £3.99

A quirky little Indie puzzle platformer that is playable by anyone who can press a button. Run and jump your way through a ripped paper world and wrap your head around 17 levels of mind-bending puzzles.

There are still a fair few pre-order specials available:

Alpha Protocol – Receive Space Siege for FREE
Tidalis – Beta access + 10% discount on AI War: Fleet Command, AI War The Zenith Remnant or AI War/Zenith Remnant Pack
Air Aces Pacific – 5-20% discount depending on your member status + Beta Access
Hamlet – 10% off
Amnesia: The Dark Descent (PC& Mac) – 20% discount
Storm over the Pacific – 10% discount + Beta Access this spring
Hotel Collectors Edition Mac – 10% discount

Alpha Protocol remains a good bet on the pre-order front. Not only does this look like a great game, but you even get a free game to keep you busy until the launch. Space Siege is a Diablo style action RPG set in space. Offering four player co-op, a deep sci-fi storyline and a huge collection of weapons and abilities, this game should pass the time until Alpha Protocol launches on June 1st
