There we have it. Proof that Cowboys are more popular than Plumbers. I will admit to being slightly shocked, but the power of RockStar’s Cowboy sandbox game is without question.
The other major new release of the week, Green Day: Rock Band, has come in at a disappointing 14. The big shock of the week is that Rooms on the DS has jumped up to 4. Personally I found this game was great, but I know a lot of reviewers were less than impressed. I guess I am right :p
Massive movie tie-in will be dominant in next week’s release, with Shrek Forever After being available. You know that the game is going to be rubbish, but you also know that it will sell like hotcakes. Maybe the big green guy will topple the Cowboy?
More charts next week.
