New For Nintendo!

Posted by GG Goblin On July - 16 - 2010

What do the big N have to offer this week? Some new WiiWare and DSiWare I am sure. Let’s take a look…

Pearl Harbor Trilogy – 1941: Red Sun Rising

Legendo Entertainment – 700 Wii Points

First up we have the first in a series of three air combat titles. Participate in dogfights or search and destroy missions across two campaigns set in the early years of the Pacific War.

Kung Fu Funk – Everybody is Kung Fu Fighting!

Stickmen Studios – 500 Wii Points

Those cats were fast as lightning? Maybe, but this is a 1970’s Kung Fu themed party game. Oh yeah!

With three game modes, a huge collection of insane mini games and the option to play with Wiimote and Nunchuk, or Wiimote alone, all that is missing is the giant sideburns.

Soul of Darkness

Gameloft – 500 Nintendo DSi Points

Fans of Castlevania should jump at this title. Enter a gothic world filled with gargoyles, zombies and werewolves and more as you try to save the life and soul of your wife from an evil vampire (are there any other sort? *prepares for backlash from Twilight fans*) Side scrolling action adventure.

4 TRAVELLERS – Play French

AGENIUS Interactive – 800 Nintendo DSi Points

A digital board game for all ages that promises to teach you a new language. Trick your kids into learning by picking this game up.

5 in 1 Solitaire

Digital Leisure Inc. – 200 Nintendo DSi Points

Another week brings anotehr solitaire game. Although I tend to play a lot of solitaire, I am not sure if I would go out of my way to play it. It just seems to happen by accident (like playing Bejewelled Blitz or Pixelated)

Anyway, 5 in 1 Solitaire features the always popular Klondike, Spider and FreeCell games as well as the unique Golf and Gaps versions of solitaire. For the price this should be popular with solitaire fans who want their fix whilst on the move.

3D Space Tank

Nintendo – 800 Nintendo DSi Points

Not sure what to make of this. The player takes control of VIXIV, a state-of-the-art space battle tank capable of all-range surface combat and interplanetary travel. Featuring a first person view and plenty of missions and side-quests to keep the player entertained.

Until next time, have fun.
