Win Lips: I Love The 80s

Posted by GG Goblin On July - 2 - 2010

The 80s. Big hair, big shoulders and big movies. What a decade. Here is your chance to relive that decade and sing along with such iconic tunes as Let’s Dance by David Bowie, The Look Of Love by ABC and Tainted Love by Soft Cell. We have three copies to give away.

The Lips series of games offer the Xbox360 owner the chance to get some Karaoke action and sing along with a huge catalogue of popular songs. The latest outing in the series went back to the 1980s (see our review here) and arguably offered the best tunes that the decade had to offer. Not just for those that were around during the 8os, the songs available will appeal to wannabe singers of all ages.

Should you get bored of the 80s, there is a huge catalogue of other songs available in the Xbox Live store that will cater to all tastes. The boxed sets we have to give away, of which there are three, even come with a wireless microphone. So there is no excuse not to get down with the likes of Fergal Sharkey, Kajagoogoo and The Buggles.

To be in with a chance of winning one of these awesome boxed sets, simply leave a comment below telling us the following:

Everyone loves a good sing-song, but what song would make you get up and join in?

This competition is open to UK residents only. Entry will close at Midnight on Wednesday 7th July 2010. The winners will be chosen at random and notified by email, so please use a real email address.

It would definitely have to be Joan Jett and the Blackhearts – I Love Rock n Roll. It’s one of the greatest rock songs of the 80’s. Even thinking about it makes you want to sing it!
