No, I’m not talking about the prancing Elves. This is all about the sexy ladies of the Amazon team.
Blood Bowl Legendary Edition will be featuring 11 new races to add to the 9 that were present in the original game. That’s 11 new ways to humiliate your opponents and 11 new sets of tactics to learn. Just recently the Elves and Ogres were announced, both offering gameplay at different ends of the tactical spectrum. The proud Elves offer speed and agility, perfect for the throwing/running game. They are not as fast as their Wood Elf cousins, but at least they don’t crumble to the floor with a broken finger nail. The Ogres on the other hand care very little for the running/throwing game. In fact, it could be said that they care very little for Blood Bowl in general. All they know is that they are put on a field and people cheer when they mash the opposition to a pulp. They are not the brightest creatures, but offer a brutality and toughness that is unmatched. However, too many Ogres on the pitch can cause problems, so their numbers are bolstered by the smallest and most pointless of the Goblinoid races, the Snotlings. When not being stomped on by the other team, and their own team for that matter, the Snotlings provide a valuable service by reminding the Ogres that they are in the middle of a game.
However, delicate Elves and brutal Ogres need to make way for the eye candy. The newest race to be announced are the Amazonians, sexy ladies with a lust for violence. What better way to fulfill that lust than by forming a Blood Bowl team. These ladies play very similar to the Human team, with a little bit of Elf thrown in. Although fragile, they possess incredible dodging skills that will allow them to avoid all but the most nimble opponent, and their Blitzers offer the much needed power, complete with all of the relevant spiky bits. Not to be underestimated, the Amazon team are about as soft as a Chaos Warrior’s cod piece.
