Over at SEGA America offices they like to play a prank or two on their employees when they decide to go on vacation. The SEGA team always have a lot of fun. Their next victim was Aaron Webber, who was about to spend some weeks in Europe.
During the time he was away, they decided to clear his desk of everything and transform it into the famous Green Hills Zone. They spent weeks gluing yellow squares to brown paper, building ramps, cutting astro turf to fit the desk, floor, and cube rails, and putting together items like palm trees and totem poles. Which is pretty epic, as you can see from the video, they set up all the golden rings, and it was a striking resemblance to the Sonic the hedgehog level. Judging by Aaron’s face, he looked pretty surprised to say the least and was pleased at the results. Jump to the video to see how the construction was made. Can someone transform my desk?!!
