On this, the eve of the Halo Reach launch, a Spartan with a jetpack was seen in Trafalgar Square, London.
So, there I was, enjoying my CocoPops in an attempt to wake myself up on this Monday morning. The TV was on in the background, but I was not really paying attention. Somewhere in the corner of my consciousness, I thought I had heard Adrian Chiles mention something about a jetpack, Trafalgar Square and a “computer game”. I brushed it all aside, thinking that excessive time playing Halo Reach on Sunday had actually warped my brain.
But I soon found out that it was all true. It goes to show that you should always listen to what Adrian Chiles has to say. Well, maybe not, but I really should pay more attention.
Anyway, it turns out that, at some ungodly time this morning, a bunch of Spartans turned up in Trafalgar Square. One of the Spartans was sporting a jetpack and commenced to wow the crowds with a quick flight around the Square before landing, with what can only be called Spartan precision, between the other two. Check out the video.
Halo Reach launches tomorrow in the UK, with many stores opening at midnight to celebrate this massive title.
