Two new Mama games are on the way from 505 games. On the DS she will be getting all arts and crafty, and on the Wii she will be babysitting, with a life sized baby doll peripheral. Queue the jokes…
Cooking Mama World: Babysitting Mama is the name of the Wii game. Let’s save the jokes for the end, there will be more to joke about, trust me.
The game will come bundled with a baby doll peripheral. The player will place the Wiimote into a secure pouch on the dolls back and watch as the baby comes to life. Simply follow along with Mama on the screen to become a successful babysitter. The baby meter on screen will show the babies mood, from laughing and giggling through to crying. With tasks such as feeding the baby, changing nappies and helping baby take it’s first steps, there will be plenty to keep the budding babysitter busy. Players can even tackle the challenges head to head with a friend to see who is the best babysitter.
Cooking Mama World: Hobbies and Fun will be arriving on the Ds and allow the player to join Mama in a number of challenges revolving around arts and crafts. The game will include activities such as pottery, woodwork, jewellery design, origami and many more. Following Mama’s careful instructions, players will be shown how to create a selection of gadgets and trinkets, including a bird box, necklace, kaleidoscope, cushions and patchwork quilts.
“The Cooking Mama games have been an unprecedented success for us as a company and our fans are always keen to see what we have come up with next,†commented Juliette Fielder, Senior Product Manager, 505 Games. “The direction we’ve taken with the series will give gamers a new take on Mama, particularly as Babysitting Mama will provide the world’s first baby peripheral!â€
Both games will be released on November 12th.
Ok, now let the jokes begin…
