EA grow flowers on 3DS

Posted by GG Goblin On October - 5 - 2010

My Garden (working title) is a new 3D game in development by EA, that will allow players to create custom gardens on their 3DS.

With the help of a little friend, Tanuki, players will be challenged through various missions, to create beautiful outdoor spaces within a variety of environments. Players can unlock abilities for Tanuki, which can help the garden reach it’s full potential, and they can take pictures using the in game camera to unlock rare and exotic flowers. By whistling into the microphone, players will be able to summon birds into the garden, to join the already resident insects. They can then be driven away by simply shaking the 3DS, which will also give coins that can be spent on new tools and plants.

“With My Garden, our aim was simple: to make something beautiful that comes to life on the Nintendo 3DS like no other platform,” said Rod Humble, Executive Vice President of the EA Play Label. “We hope to offer a game that’s so immersive that it truly brings the delight of owning a garden to life through a visually stunning 3D experience.”
