Medal Of Honor Competition

Posted by GG Goblin On October - 18 - 2010

To celebrate the launch of Medal of Honor, we have some prizes that would bring a tear to the eye of even the most hardened Tier 1 Operative.

Medal of Honor, the FPS based in modern times from EA, is now firmly on the shelves. Gamers have the chance to experience the current conflict in Afghanistan as a Tier 1 Operative, the best of the best of the best, a US Army Ranger, a quad bike driving member of Wolf Pack or even as a gunner aboard a helicopter gunship. Fight back the enemy in gritty close-quarters combat or from a massive distance with a high-powered Sniper rifle.

Once the story is finished, the excitement does not stop with multiplayer modes developed by DICE, the guys behind Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Enjoy rising through the ranks and proving your superiority on the battlefield with up to 23 other players.

Two lucky winners will be getting a copy of the game (one PS3 and one Xbox360), the Medal of Honor book by Chris Ryan and a Medal of Honor patch. One of these two winners will also receive a Medal of Honor mug signed by Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer. We will also have some runners up who will receive a Medal of Honor patch.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply leave a comment below with your answer to the following question and telling us which format (PS3 or Xbox360) you would prefer:

With WWII, Vietnam and modern times already being used by numerous FPS games, what would you choose as the next big FPS setting?

This competition is open to UK residents over the age of 18 years only. Entry will close at Midnight on Sunday 24th October 2010. The winners will be chosen at random and notified by email, so please use a real email address and keep checking your spam folder.

The biggest battle of all is the battle for survival.

I’d like to see a FPS set in the canopy of the Amazon rainforests, where you play as a predator gradually growing/evolving to the top of the food chain. You’d need to both ‘kill’ competitior speices and ‘eat’ inferior ones – in your mission to become ‘Queen Bee’ (or whatever is at the top of the Amazon food chain!).

    Xbox360 for me, please.

I think FPS and the game play changes depending on how the player wants to play it! If i choose to go silent then the enemy (unless seen!) doesn’t know i’m there! If i want to go all out then so be it but ensuring i make proper use of cover and not being able to stand and spray my way through coz there’s no reward in that! x
