Wii Rifle

Posted by GG Goblin On October - 7 - 2010

Cowboy games thus far have just not felt authentic enough. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a western based game on the Wii that came with a plastic Rifle peripheral? What? There is?

BigBen Interactive will be launching Western Heroes in November for Wii. Up to four players will be able to blast their way through various classic western settings as they try to foil the plans of the evil Molina.

But, most interestingly, the game will come with a unique Rifle peripheral, into which both the Wiimote and Nunchuk will fit. Replicating real western Rifles, players will have to use the lever beneath the trigger to reload in game.

“We are renowned for our innovations in videogame peripherals, but the Winchester is one of the very best we have put our name to,” commented Mark Liddle, Head of UK Business Development, Bigben Interactive. “With Western Heroes, we are confident that we have secured the perfect accompanying title to offer a Wild West experience like no other.”

oh my! two of my fave things – cowboys and games. Not sure about the graphics but the action gun more than makes up for it. Roll on November :-)
