Corvette zr1 PC Casemod

Posted by TurtleGirl On November - 8 - 2010

Bill Owen managed to construct a desktop PC on wheels by using  a 1/6th scale remote controlled Chevy Corvette ZR1 for his casemod project.

You’ll see a slimline laptop DVD is incorporated into the roof. The paint is factory “Jetstream Blue” with hand painted ZR1 logos.

The system is a Jetway NC64 Core 2 Duo Mobile ITX Mainboard with Intel Quad-core Q9000 mobile processor. Mushkin’s 60GB Callisto SSD and 4GB DDR3 PC3-8500.

HD Video is generated by GIGABYTE 512I Radeon HD 512MB 64-bit. PC is powered by a 150W “Brick” Power Supply and 9.6V R/C battery. It’s pretty impressive stuff to be honest. Take a hop, skip and jump to the trailer to see how this baby was put together.
