Aimed at 7-11 year olds, the Maths edition of this latest installment to the Junior Brain Trainer series from Avanquest will give your youngsters a proper mental workout.
Concentrating on mathematical skills, this Junior Brain trainer game will put the player on a mad scientist’s flying lab, where they will have to solve puzzles and complete exciting games to rescue their friends and escape.
The player will need to obtain points to unlock new games and get rewards. The game can only be completed once the player has received a reward in each of the games. There are three difficulty levels for the various levels of mathematical knowledge.
Mystery Number – where players use numeracy skills to fill in missing figures to get the right answer.
True or False – where the mad scientist tries to trick the players with false sums and players must then work out if the answer is correct in order to progress.
Mirror – test gamers’ symmetrical skills where they must replicate various shapes displayed using the stylus.
Dominoes – which requires players to connect the dominoes to corresponding numbers.
Abacus and Lost Sign – each use numeracy skills and common teaching tactics to help children learn both in and out of the classroom.
