gPotato Raising Money for Japan

Posted by GG Goblin On March - 28 - 2011

Gala Networks Europe, operators of the gPotato.eu gaming portal, have launched charity items in four of their games.

Players of Rappelz and Flyff will be able to make charitable donations to the Red Cross by simply purchasing the special charity item found within the Cash Shop. Players of Terra Militaris and Castle of Heroes will be able to join in when the items become available this week. All proceeds from these charity items will go to the Irish Red Cross and then to Japan.

Hyun Hur, CEO, Gala Networks Europe, comments: “We have all been deeply affected by the disaster in Japan and as our parent company is based in Tokyo, we wanted to provide a channel for gPotato.eu members to contribute to the relief effort.” He continues: “By supporting the Red Cross, our players can have a part in helping Japan recover from one of the worst natural disasters it has ever had to endure.”

Further information can be found on the official gPotato.eu site.
