The Good Smile Company have announced it will be producing a Nendoroid PVC figure of the famous Japanese Hatsune Miku to help raise relief funds for the people in the Earthquake in Eastern Japan.
Hatsune Miku is a singing synthesizer application and its female character Miku Hatsune’s voice was created by taking vocal samples from the voice actress Saki Fujita at a controlled pitch and tone. These different samples all contained a single Japanese phonic which when strung together would create full words and eventually phrases. The pitch of the samples was to be altered by the synthesizer engine itself and was constructed into a keyboard style instrument within the Vocaloid 2 program.
This special edition is only purchaseable from the Good Smile Online Shop and is priced at ¥3,000 Yen.
Delivery is expected to be in late July.
