If you want to play Zelda Ocarine of Time on the 3DS on launch day, you better pre-order quickly as according to sources the first shipment for Zelda will be extremely small.
Apparently Nintendo is not allowing retailers to place orders for the game and allotments are going to be small for all retailers, small and large. We’ll wondering why Nintendo is being so strict with Zelda as it’s set to be the biggest game yet?. Sources suspect that this could be an attempt at avoiding the bargain bin sales that took place for Zelda Spirit Tracks. Nintendo will be shipping less than 150,000 units for launch.Thankfully, Nintendo is apparently leaving open the possibility of increased shipments, as if released at this level, the game would surely see shortages. Zelda: Ocarine of Time on 3DS is due out in the UK on the 17th June 2011.
