Essex hacker Ryan Cleary who was charged last week for allegations of hacking has been released on bail on conditions that he remains off the internet.
The 19 year old has been ordered an overnight curfew and been given an electronic tracking tag and banned from using the Internet. His devices such as his PC, Apple iphone and Sony PlayStation 3 video game console has been confiscated. Mr Cleary has been accused of launching various attacks on websites, including the Serious Organised Crime Agency.
Outside Southwark crown court, Mr Cleary’s solicitor said “Ryan has last week at court been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, which is a form of autism. He will now be provided with professional support that he needs. His obvious intelligence can now be channelled into a worthwhile pursuit“.
