Edinburgh Interactive 2011

Posted by GG Goblin On July - 26 - 2011

The annual event celebrating the creative culture of interactive entertainment, held at the heart of the Edinburgh Fringe, is only just over a couple of weeks away. But what will be in store for visitors this year?

Offering both professional and free public sessions, along with free screenings of the latest games and tech, Edinburgh Interactive is a two day event that has become an essential part of the year for anyone serious about gaming or breaking into the games industry. Speakers such as the legendary Ian Livingstone and Mark Gerhard, CEO of Jagex, will be on hand to discuss the future of gaming and the rise of multiplayer games, amongst other industry related topics.

The free public sessions will be held at The Great Scots Hall, Radisson Blu Hotel, The Royal Mile, Edinburgh, on:

Thursday 11th August: 10.00 – 16.45
Friday 12th August: 10.30 – 17.30

A full programme of the public sessions can be found at – http://edinburghinteractive.co.uk/public-programme

Whilst the public sessions are free and are not ticket events, spaces are limited and are offered on a first come/first served basis.

Head over to http://edinburghinteractive.co.uk/ for more information on this annual event and hopefully we will see you there.
