Are You A Feudal Japanese Lord?

Posted by GG Goblin On September - 30 - 2011

Sengoku, the latest grand strategy title from Paradox Interactive, puts the player in the shoes of a 16th century Japanese Lord. Do you have what it takes to unite the Land of the Rising Sun? We have five boxed copies to give away.

With more than 350 provinces to unite, the player will have to rely on the friends and family of his feudal Lord, military might and shrewd politics to become Shogun. Manage relations with three different religious factions and, when your Samurai armies fail, employ the services of powerful Ninja clans.

The 16th Century was a dangerous time to be alive. If you had a choice, what period of history would you live in?

This competition is open to residents of the UK and entry will close at Midnight on Sunday 9th October 2011. The winners will be chosen at random and notified by email, so please use a real email address and keep checking your spam folder. Definitely would go with being born during the late 40s as then I’d be the right age for the 60s – where everything was possible and most people could make a proper go of things for themselves, no matter what their background had been.

Of course it’d be beter to know a few things about the intervening history between then and now…
