The Angry Birds Theme Park Opens in China
If it wasn’t enough to play Angry Birds on every available platform on the planet, China have just opened the Angry Birds theme park.
It’s situated in Changasha, which is the captial of Hunan province in southeastern China. Simulating the action of the video game, players can actually pull a real catapult and shoot Angry Birds plush toys at annoying green piggy balloons which are placed around a toy brick fortress.
The 400,000 square meter window of the world is Changsha’s major recreational attraction. The Angry Birds playground is located withi the park’s American Zone, next to a scaled down version of Mount Rushmore.
While the playground is not officially licensed by the Angry Birds product, it certainly looks like huge amounts of fun and you can even purchase Angry Birds Moon Cakes too. Entry fee for Window of the World is RMB 90 (US$14). No additional fee is required to use the Angry Birds theme park.
