The thinnest Xbox 360 slim Laptop in the World

Posted by TurtleGirl On September - 5 - 2011

If you fancy something a little bit different from the usual video game console, then I might just have something up my sleeve for you.

Cast your eyes on this Xbox 360 Slim Laptop, which is available on Ebay currently for $1,650. This 17″ model has a hand cut and shaped aluminum case.  The shell is covered with a carbon fiber vinyl finish. It uses a negative air pressure cooling system that is designed to allow the heat sink to cool the CGPU without a fan attached. This is crucial for sliming the system. Two fans force air out of the case, which is sealed, to control air intake forcing incoming air over the heat sink.

Its dimensions are 14 3/4″ wide by 10 3/4″ deep by 1.985″ thick. All controls are mounted on the front of the unit with a six button handmade keypad with a headphone jack. The top plate has only one vent, the ring of light and very small speaker holes. It still has as much of the original xbox slim’s functionality as possible. This Xbox laptop comes with all the same ports as a stock Xbox slim with the exception of only having access to two usb ports and no IR remote input. Every other stock port is available including Kinect. The AV header is unchanged allowing it to function exactly the same way as the stock Xbox slim.
