Tomorrow, Friday October 21st, is one of the most important days in the gaming calender with the annual Golden Joystick Awards celebrating the best that video gaming has to offer. But things have already kicked off to a record-breaking start.
As if any proof were needed that the GamesMaster Golden Joystick Awards were important to gamers everywhere, the 29th award ceremony has smashed its first world record with a whopping 2.06 million public votes cast. The winners will all be announced tomorrow at a lavish ceremony in London, and GGUK will be there to bring you the results.
But not content with smashing just one world record, Justin Towell of Future Publishing will attempt to break the world record for the new India circuit on F1 2011, to coincide with the Grand Prix which takes place this Sunday.
Either follow @Turtlegirl73 on Twitter or check back here tomorrow for the results of the awards ceremony and to see if Justin manages to break the record.
