Posted by TurtleGirl On November - 30 - 2011

Zombie infested action game Dead Island, has been officially banned from sale in Germany and you’ve got the Federal Department of Media Harmful To Young Persons to blame for it.

“This isn’t unexpected,” Techland, the developers of the game, told Eurogamer. “Germany has its unique regulations regarding video games and violence and the industry can only comply.

“Both Deep Silver and Techland were aware of such a possibility from the very beginning.” The game has now been placed on ‘List B’, which is where you would find games that feature ‘extreme torture or Nazi content’
