The PC version of Minecraft has just recently gone gold, and Mojang have launched the pocket edition for iOS devices.
Minecraft: Pocket Edition allows you to use the basic sandbox building game, but will limit some of the creative aspects of the game. The port enables co-op multiplayer mode playable over a local Wi-Fi connection. The mobile version lacks animals, enemies and energy meters and a day and night cycle, but considering it’s make the leap from PC to mobiles, we aren’t too bothered it doesn’t contain everything in this pocket edition. It’s a universal app and costs £4.99.
