What is Little Deviants All About?

Posted by TurtleGirl On November - 24 - 2011

Little Deviants coming to PS Vita are a mischievous bunch of intergalactic creatures that have crash landed on the Whoman world, yes, you heard that right.

They are being pursued by the evil botz and it’s up to you to save the day and rescue the Deviants, protect the Whomans, yes, that’s right the second time round and defeat the robot menace. The Whoman world is split in six different regions, each with their very own thrilling challenges. From the beautiful lush green fields of Grazy Meadows to the snowy mountain of Chillrock Gorge. Prepare yourself for a series of exciting new mini games, that make full use of the PS Vita features, including touchscreen, rear touch pad, gyro, front and rear camera, microphone and more

Do you want to meet the Deviants? Look up to the family photo!

The Goopher Deviants – (orange) are supreme adrenaline junkies, with not a red bull in sight. They are always looking for fun things to do. They love to be the centre of attention and get annoyed when other Deviants steal the spotlight.

Blobber – (pink) is a cute Deviant, who has an inquisitive nature and are always keen to help out. The Blobber Deviants have an amazing talent for absorbing bombs and tends to come in very useful when the Botz attack.

Freezing and frosty – (White) Frostal Deviants love to take charge and be boss and secretly love getting into trouble.

Pyruss (yellow) Deviants are emotionally tuned creatures and they are delicate and careful with other Deviants. But they do have a habit of setting everything on fire, which can lead them to angry outbursts and large amounts of ash.

Nucleor Deviants – (grey) are very unpredictable creatures, but they understand how the world works and is desperate for acception and validation. They can cause damage with atomic powers.

In single player, players begin by touching a region, such as Grazy Meadows, Bustleburg or Twisty Root Grove. Touch the front screen to play one of the levels themed around this environment. Enjoy playing a level using one of the Vita’s many cool and awesome interfaces. You’ll unlock new levels, find hidden secrets…sshh and loads of PSN trophies.

You can even challenge your friends online. The News Cloud alerts you of your challenges from your friends from around the world and other players near you. It’s kind of a bit like autolog from Need the Speed, but without the cars.

You can see how you’re doing amongst your friends and even invite near players for PSN friends or even send them a gift. Play to win, or simply trash your friend’s score. Race to the top of the leaderboard, to find who scored the highest.
