According to Business Insider, Microsoft will soon build apps that will allow iOS and Android users to play Xbox Live Games. It was recently reported by LiveSide that a job posting was spotted by the website. The job itself is for developers with iOS and Android experience. The Xbox Live app launched last month for iOS devices. The job posting does indicate that Microsoft has plans to bring Xbox Live games to iOS and Android.

It saysAs the team inside IEB (Interactive Entertainment Business) dedicated to mobile experiences, we work closely with console software team and Xbox LIVE services team to bring the latest and greatest gaming and entertainment experience to mobile platforms including Windows Phone, iOS and other mobile platforms.

If Microsoft makes Xbox Live exclusively for the Windows Phone 7, then it’s handing the live gaming market on iOS and Android to rivals like Sony’s PlayStation’s PSN on a plate.
