Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition Release Date on Nintendo 3DS
The Japanese Jump magazine have revealed the 17th March release date for Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition on Nintendo 3DS in Japan. It will be priced at ¥5,800.
The game is a crossover between the Pokémon franchise and Tecmo Koei’s Nobunaga’s Ambition Series. You’ll start the game by choosing a male or female character and you begin your journey with Eevie as your partner Pokémon. The game world is split in 17 kingdoms, each pairing famous general with a Pokémon. Nobunaga is paired with Zekrom for instance.
Your goal is to defeat your rival generals and unite the land. The strategy battle system places six allied units against six enemy units. These units are all Pokémon, each with special skills based off their type. The generals who command the battalion have special ‘busho powers’ one power for each general.
An example is the capability to heal your Pokémon units. Outside of the battle, you need to prepare your army and make use of your ability to link with wild Pokémon to build up forces. You will also be able to scout new generals for your army. You can strengthen your army in your castle town.
