Square Enix announced ‘Dragon Quest X‘ will be released on the Nintendo Wii on the 2nd August in Japan. The Wii title will cost ¥6,980 for the standard game, or will set you back ¥8,980 if you opt to purchase it was a USB memory card. You’ll need a USB memory card with at least 16GB capacity and a broadband connection to use the service.
The game will ship on two discs and the service charges cost charges run ¥1,000, ¥1,950 or ¥2,900 for respectively 30, 60 and 90 days play. The service can be paid through credit card using the standard currency, or with Wii Points. The standard and bundle versions of Dragon Quest X will come complete with 20 days of free play and Square Enix are planning to host ‘Kids Times’ for the game. This will be a special time set aside for children to enjoy the game for free.
