Microsoft are preparing to launch a $99 Xbox 360 console package with a monthly subscription early next week, according to ‘The Verge‘.
Microsoft will offer a 4GB console bundle with a Kinect sensor at it’s US Microsoft stores, subsidized with a monthly cost of $15. The two year subscription will provide access to the Xbox Live Gold Service and additional streaming content from cable providers. Customers who sign up for the deal will be covered with a two year warranty. Microsoft will position the package as a competitor to Apple TV, Roku, and PlayStation 3.
