Eurogamer is delighted to announce that Stainless Games, creators of Carmageddon, will be delivering a speech at Rezzed: The PC and Indie Games Show.
Stainless Games production director Ben Gunstone will take the stage on Friday 6th July to talk about the challenges the studio faced in putting together its Kickstarter campaign for Carmageddon: Reincarnation, which is closing in on $300,000 of its $400,000 goal.
Gamers who have pledged support to Carmageddon: Reincarnation will be able to quiz the developers on progress, and Stainless will share a few of the key lessons learned in crowd-sourcing development of its latest game.
“Crowd-sourced development is one of the most exciting innovations in independent game production since the advent of digital distribution, and we’re thrilled to have the Stainless guys at Rezzed to talk about their experience,” said Tom Bramwell, Operations Director at Rezzed organiser Eurogamer Network.
“Talking at Rezzed brings us face to face with the PC and Indie gaming enthusiasts – the guys and girls who really matter,” said Stainless Games co-founder Neil Barnden. “We have a thriving online community but there’s nothing better than coming to an event like Rezzed where we can share our news and get direct feedback. We can’t wait.”
Rezzed: The PC and Indie Games Show takes place on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th July at the Brighton Centre and expects to welcome 5,000 hardcore PC and indie gamers to the Brighton seafront.
The Rezzed show floor will allow gamers to go hands-on with upcoming PC and indie titles including Aliens: Colonial Marines and Prison Architect, among many others, while top developers including Creative Assembly (Total War) and The Indie Stone (Project Zomboid) have already signed on to present developer sessions.
Tickets are on sale now at www.rezzedgameshow.com, priced £12 for one day or £20 for a two-day ticket. More games and sessions will be announced in the next few days and weeks leading up to the show.
