Halfbrick today celebrates the two year anniversary of its hit sensation Fruit Ninja, marking its success as one of the world’s most recognizable brands in the mobile gaming space with some remarkable milestones. In 2012, the title was officially recognized as the second highest-selling App Store game of all time.
Kicking off the week-long celebration, Halfbrick gave fans a worldwide content update for the iOS versions of the games, introducing new characters, features and a global download code giveaway contest. The company also hosted a tour in Australia in search of the country’s ultimate Fruit Ninja Master – the winner was crowned and won a trip to Japan for a real life ninja experience courtesy of Halfbrick.
