Nintendo of America and Europe begun their Nintendo Direct presentation with some vital information for Nintendo owners.
They announced the new Nintendo 3DS XL will become available to the US on the 19th August for $199.99. In Europe, you will be able to pick up the console on the 28th July. You’ll have a choice of colours to choose from; blue, red, or silver, and US owners will be able to get black, red and blue.
The new 3DS XL will boast an upper screen of a 90% size increase 4.88 inches and the lower screen is now 4.18 inches. The 3DS XL will have a longer battery life, estimated to last between 3.5-6.5 hours for Nintendo 3DS games, and 6 to 10 hours for Nintendo DS titles. It will have a 4GB SD card and three announced games for its launch will be Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, TheatRhythm Final Fantasy and New Art Academy.
