What’s new on the Nintendo Eshop this week?

Posted by TurtleGirl On June - 11 - 2012

Art of Ink comes to Nintendo DSiWare this week. Working in one of the coolest tattoo studios in town, use your Stylus as a tattoo machine which will allow you to get creative on your clients’ skin and leave them with a piece of stylish body artwork.

But it doesn’t end with the art, you’ll have to contend with the colourful array of characters that enter your studio looking for their own personalised tattoos. The more creative and accurate designs you draw the more your reputation will grow, until rival tattoo artists will challenge you to prove your artistry. Once you’ve defeated them you’ll be able to see their strengths and build your own until you just may be the best tattoo artist around.

Check out all the latest offerings which are available for download this Thursday via Nintendo eShop and the Wii Shop Channel below.

Samurai Sword Destiny: You are going to need all the help you can get if Akane is going to have a fighting chance against the forces standing in her way to find her missing brother. Thankfully, there are dozens of upgrades, which may just make the difference. Available on Nintendo 3DS for £5.40/ €6.

Sonic Blast: You can play as Sonic or Knuckles in this classic title which comes complete with 14 classic levels. The game is full of power-ups, special advantages like Sonic’s new Boost Blast, allowing you to reach hidden areas and Knuckles super climbing skills to help you gain extra points, and even hidden levels. Available on Nintendo 3DS for  £7.20/ €8.

Art of Ink: Keep your clients happy enough and you may even be able to open your own tattoo parlour – and customise it just the way you like. Available for Nintendo 3DS for 800 Nintendo DSi points.

Available this week, exclusively for Nintendo 3DS owners, is the fifteenth and final in a series of popular Shaun the Sheep 3D clips created exclusively in 3D by Aardman Animations, the multi-award winning creators of Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit.
