EA announces Merger with Two Renowned Mobile Studios

EA is merging with two of the world’s leading mobile development studios, IronMonkey and Firemint, to form Firemonkeys. These two studios have entertained over 50 million players in 2012 alone with stellar titles including Flight Control, SPY mouse and Real Racing from Firemint, and Mass Effect Infiltrator, Dead Space and The Sims FreePlay from IronMonkey. Based in Melbourne, Australia, both studios have been developing mobile games for over a decade and combining the two teams makes Firemonkeys Australia’s largest game development studio. Nintendo Announces First Quarter Financial Results

Nintendo today reported reduced losses for its first financial quarter, ended 30th June, 2012. No revisions were made to the previously announced annual financial or unit sales forecasts. Japanese Government Investigate overheating playstation Vitas

It has been reported a number of PlayStation Vitas have been burning up during recharging according to Yomiuri in Japan. The Japanese government agency are investigating this issue, and according to Sony, there have been 31 examples of these incidents since the handheld launched last December through to early June.
