Ellie Gibson returns to Eurogamer.net
Eurogamer.net is pleased and delighted to announce that Ellie Gibson will be returning to the website following maternity leave, and veteran journalist Oli Welsh has been promoted to Deputy Editor. Oli Welsh becomes Deputy Editor, reporting to Tom Bramwell, after successive stints as MMO Editor and the site’s first Reviews Editor. As part of his broadening remit, he still retains responsibility for the site’s review content.
Ellie Gibson becomes Associate Features Editor, working on special editorial projects on a part-time basis following the birth of her son last year.
Oli’s ascension to Deputy Editor is no less than he deserves after four years of brilliant stewardship of various areas of the site. He’s a superb writer and greatly appreciated by his colleagues and readers,” said Tom Bramwell, Operations Director of Eurogamer Network and Editor-At-Large of Eurogamer.net.
“We’re also thrilled to be welcoming Ellie back to the site after a year away. She will be working exclusively on feature-length, investigative journalism as we continue to invest in exclusive and original content.”
Ellie Gibson added: “Obviously most of the games have ‘4’ on the end now instead of ‘3’, but so far I seem to be coping.”
Coming later this year to Xbox One, PS4, PC and Switch.
