The leaked images teasing footage of Metal Gear Solid 5 are fake, according to Hideo Kojima. Kojima says that he had received a flood of questions about the supposed Metal Gear Solid 5 screenshots that had supposedly appeared during the San Diego Comic-Con. A statement from Hideo Kojima Twitter confirmed the following information.
 

 
“I was wondering what was up, so I checked the net and was able to see the cause. However, that title logo is completely fake. I apologize to those who were looking forward to it.”
