President of Square Enix Japan, Yoichi Wada, has announced that RPG, Final Fantasy 3 will launch on the Android based console OUYA in March 2013. Square Enix plan to deliver in March and will also be considering providing additional content for the ‘OUYA’ in the future. The DS and iPad port of Final Fantasy 3 would launch alongside OUYA next year.
OUYA is a new game console for the TV and has managed to raise $5,812,462 on Kickstarter. This little console box costing $99 is powered by Android and is attracting a fair bit of wide scale attention. The Ouya is developed with an open design to allow you to play video games in the living room and taking advantage of everything the TV has to offer. The design sounds more like a smartphone than a gaming rig with a quad-core Tegra 3 and 8GB of storage running Android 4.0. The upscale, RF wireless gamepad’s standout is a built-in trackpad for playing mobile games alongside the familiar sticks and buttons.
