Nexon Europe released trailers at Gamescom last week for two upcoming games that will be added to their free-to-play MMO roster in 2013 – the Naval RTS Navyfield 2 and the FPS Shadow Company: The Mercenary Wars.
Shadow Company: The Mercenary War will be offering features such as weather effects, 24 person multiplayer combat, dynamic lighting effects and realistic character animation made possible by Unreal Engine 3.
The return of the original naval RTS, Navyfield 2: Conqueror of the Ocean uses the real-time strategy model in a way that has never been seen before. Following on from well-known Navyfield, NF2 utilizes the impressive graphical capabilities of the Gamebryo engine and supports up to 192 Ships controlled by 64 Players. Playable ships range from destroyers to submarines, as well as aircraft carriers and are fully customizable down to their crew and technical equipment. It’s a fast-paced, action intensive Naval RTS that utilizes the Gamebryo engine to provide historical settings from the time period of World Wars I and II.
