- In the game, of course…
Starting from day 1, those who pre-order a copy of WRC 3 will have the chance to experience Rally Monte-Carlo’s 1964 charm. This year is marked in the history of Mini, thanks to the first position of Paddy Hopkirk and the successful finish of three Mini Cooper S’s. The Classic Mini Cooper S 1964, that will be included in “Road to Glory” game mode, will redesign and break space/time boundaries by offering this hitherto unseen experience to rally fans.
Luisa Bixio, Milestone’s Sales and Marketing director affirmed,
“We are excited to announce the presence of one of the most loved cars into WRC 3. The reason we chose this specific car stems from our monitoring of the communities. From which we’ve noticed that the Classic Mini cooper S 64 was one of the most requested cars. Furthermore, we would like to offer our fans a 360° rally experience, that mixes classic and modern elements”
Red with the distinctive white roof the Mini Cooper S has always been a symbol of automotive excellence. It’s history takes roots in 1961 with the launch of the sport version tuned by John Cooper. The tuning, that created an increased engine capacity from 848 to 997 cm³, the adoption of two SU (1.25) carburetors and front disk brakes, was the perfect combination powering the teams to victory in 1964. Starting from day one, Classic Mini Cooper S 1964 will be also available for everyone and will be available for purchase at 1,99 € on PlayStation Network and 160 Microsoft points on Xbox Live.
WRC3 will be available this October for Xbox360, PS3, PC and Vita, and can be pre-ordered from Amazon, GAME, Play.com and Zavvi.
