The Guardian will be involved from the very start of the London Games Festival launch night on the 27th September. They will also be presenting ‘How to code the Raspberry Pi‘ event, which will take place on Saturday, 13th October and this will enable attendees an exclusive hands-on session with the new technology. Highlighting the Ukie led NextGen Skills Campaign.

Of the partnership, Richard Thompson, strategic marketing partnerships manager, Guardian News & Media Limited says “London Games Festival is a perfect event for us – ambitious, innovative and forward-thinking, attracting exactly the right sort of audience for The Guardian. We are delighted to be so tightly integrated with this year’s festival, and look forward to helping it reach an even bigger audience than before.

We are absolutely thrilled that The Guardian will be lending its support to this year’s London Games Festival,” says Kirsty Payne, festival director. “This is far more than a merging of logos – the events being curated by The Guardian are central to the festival, offering both consumers and businesses real value. We’re excited by the possibilities of this partnership and we’re certain it will help make this year’s London Games Festival the best yet.

London Games Festival takes place between September 27th and October 28th, at venues across London. For more information, please visit www.londongamesfestival.com
